Five ways I de -stress
These are done throughout the day, chronologically.
1. Before stress levels peak and are on the rise, I think of someone, anyone who is miserable and try to think what guidance could I offer this person? I get my own answer of how I can lift my spirits.
2. From time to time look at photos of animals with people, where the animal shows unconditional love for its owner and feel that there is still a place in somebody's heart to be loved.
3. Before dinner I write down what I plan to do tomorrow- nothing big, but small things that act as confirmation and projection that I will be fit and fine to carry them out. That I will still be able to act as a normal human being.
4. When I am on the bed, finally, I determine to leave all worries aside for now as night is the time to sleep. If I sleep well, I can worry better tomorrow, with a clearer mind!
5. When my head hits the pillow, I weave a beautiful dream for myself, a peaceful one which fulfils desires with the conviction that I will dream this dream and wake up happy.
